Sadly it’s a big “?” on the future. I purchased the same 4Runner in 2017 for under $40k that it seems like people pay around $45k now... the msrp could go up again when the 22s start rolling out (which could impact the 21s), you may be able to find some “cheap” runners here or there, or may not...

Wrap I’m a huge fan of the cement color, if I could pick any. But why not do a wrap? Will help protect the existing paint job, you can pick any color (or design) you want, and can be removed whenever you sell. Would also help with the fact that unless you remove everything to do the repaint...

Wonder if this would fit on other roof racks....I have the SSO rack and getting a tent on and off is a huge pain!! I’ve been looking into ways of getting it on and off without wrecking the top of my runner...

Just installed mine tonight (2017 4runner) and can confirm that the 3” bar will not work; however a 2” bar should still fit in that located just behind the shark fin...I don’t know if that is an acceptable solution. Guessing the rear most bar would be used for a ladder?

Weather proof For those who have installed the rack...did you feel like there is adequate weather proofing of the mounting holes/brackets? The reason I ask is bc my rack should be on its way in the next few weeks and I am making a list of all the extra stuff I’ll need for the install. Thanks!!

I spoke with the inviduals in Oregon and they said that the bracket would fit the 3” crossbar on the SSO rack... I just ordered my rack so I can’t test it out but that’s what I was told

I should’ve added that I have a ORP with a sunroof...I’m guessing the 7/8 will sit right on top of my sunroof and interfere with operation?
