Nope, you'll be good to go. The wheels will seem a little tucked in, so if that bothers you, than get wheel spacers, but otherwise I wouldn't. Cheers

Calgary hasn't gotten a ton of snow and my fj has the rear locker atrac and a three inch lift. I've tried... Lol

Planning 5100 at 2.5 inches and a 1.5 inch rear spacer for my dad's 4Runner. Also 285/70r17 Cooper AT3s. It'll probably happen in the spring. Trying to build his 4Runner so it can follow my fj on medium trails. Kinda close to your setup.

High centring is always the worry as they said. For a tire that is both fantastic onroad, and still does very well in deep snow is the Nokian LT2. Any mud tire will be better in real deep snow, but will suck onroad. This is a great compromise. I have the nokian 8s and so far haven't been...

Have you tried a road force? That worked on my fj.

Are the mags from the TRD off-road? I know those don't clear, but I'm pretty sure that the 17s do. I think I'll just put my stock fj wheels on. They stick out a bit further, and just look better. Cheers

I'm not a 4Runner guru, so forgive me on not knowing what gen can use the LC coils... If they make it for your year, I would take a look at the iron man foam cell pro. People are loving it over on the fj forum. If I could go back, I would get that on my fj, not my Toytec lift. Planning it...

I love this thread! The 3rd gens are my fave looking 4runners. If my fj gets totalled a clean 3rd gen would be tempting... Lol Thanks for the pics guys, I enjoy them all!
