    New b from Kansas City

That sucks! Hope the humans are okay. May be the time to upgrade to a Roo bar... or for us, a deer bar.

The Official 4Runner Change Configuration Board is Now in Session

Yeah, it was called an FJ55! Since we're dreaming, I'd like the 1VD-FTV common rail twin turbo please, just over 470lb-ft of torque and capable of around 27mpg. I even have a hood scoop I can make functional for the intercooler :frog::frog:

    No more 4r's after 1014 ?

Ha, guess that shows how much interest it holds for me! And how often the '08 and later are used off road. Bet the ride is comfy. And how did this turn into a SFA vs IFS?! This tread just went down a few notches. BTW, guess I missed the original title, the 4rnrs have continued WELL past...

    No more 4r's after 1014 ?

Ok, first off, the 4rnr is fine. If anything is cut it will be the Sequoia since it's basically the same as the Land Cruiser (200 series). Some of us need to brush up on our 4rnr history too... Top4Runners.com - Toyota 4Runner Informational Website The SFA was replace with IFS in '86, still...

    2014 4Runner

You forgot... 3. In under 20K miles have it towed back to the dealership because the engine is already having problems, and the transmission is shot! 4. Mid-life crisis officially over (no offense ) 5. All the bugs for the 5th gen supercharger are worked out, crisis back on...

    Any service issues with skidplates?

Your best bet is to get to know someone there, let them know you intend to go beyond what Toyota has provided in order to protect delicate parts, and you actually plan to responsibly wheel your 4rnr and not just pound pavement at the malls. There's usually a tech with similar interests who will...

    New Bumper

Beautiful, and even more impressive is it's functional! After spending months on a rear tire-carrier bumper for my Tacoma, I can attest that yours is worth every penny. Wonder how many people will ask if it came from the factory that way, outstanding attention to detail. :thumb:

    2014 4Runner

This says everything. Didn't like the look of the 01 Tacomas when they came out, but I've had one since. Didn't like the styling of the 4th gen, but we came very close to owning one. Really didn't like the looks of the 5th, but now we own one. The key is what you can do with it and how it...

    Metal Tech Sliders

I did the same thing with my tacoma sliders few years back. I inserted the I-beam of my Hi-lift (over the outer bar, under the inner bar) and was able to pry (cranking like crazy) it down enough to open the door. I have since continued to bash on the sliders with no ill effects. And a perfect...

4 Wheel Parts: No Installs Of Toytec Spacers On T4R's w/ KDSS??????

New here, but not to the subject at hand. Wonder if the KDSS bulletin used on the 200 series is the answer. Honestly I haven't look on ours yet, but not keen on the idea of prying and ratcheting to get things back in place after lifting. Link on this page Catalogue KDSS has been around...
