    Aftermarket Stereo

Yup, that's the one! Yeah, it is a PITA to get to. I just zip tied the adapter cable to the loom that the stock USB wire ran in back to the stereo.

    Reverse sensing wire

I did this as well on my '11 SR5 ... works like a charm!

The plug for this adapter on the non JBL is behind the glove box. The stock plug connects to a silver box (labeled Panasonic) mounted vertically on the passenger kick panel behind the glove box (on mine anyway). You'll need to disconnect the stock plug from this silver box, connect it to the...

    Aftermarket Stereo

My question is, where does the shark fin adapter connect to the stock plug? What is the location of the stock plug? I can't seem to find the location of the plug from the stock shark fin antenna ... I found a connection point that appears to be the correct one (passenger side kick panel) but...

2011 4runner TE steering too sensitive

Not just you, or the TE. I just bought a 2011 SR5 last weekend, and have noticed the same. It does force you to stay engaged while driving, which I guess we always should be. Not that big of a deal to me though. Love my new T4R regardless.

XM Radio Install - question regarding power source

Yep, I used this same setup when I installed my XM Roady in my Tacoma (pre 4Runner :D ). The LittleFuse Add-A-Circuit was a great way to add the switchable power source to my Roady. I'm considering doing the same thing to "hard wire" my radar detector in my 'Runner. Works like a charm, and is...

    4Runner braving the Colorado hail

Yeah, I think we're going to have one of those summers. Seems like it's getting started a little early this year. I just hope that my Runner is under cover of protection if we do :D

    Warning BEEP???

You got it Brad! Myself, I'd rather have an autobrake for talking the interstate offramp :D Or maybe an FMS instead of a GPS? ;): Happy New Year All!

    Denver snow

Velo - Nope, didn't have the diff locked, and like you, didn't even think about it ... I need some new tires as well, as the stocks probably only have another 20K on them ... Our snow up here was heavy, but not what I would call wet by any means. Can't make a snowball, but it was very dense...

    Denver snow

Veloindy - I live up north in Greeley, and we got hammered too. 20" officially, but hard to tell, because of the drifting ... 6ft in places. Yeah, the drive home yesterday was not good, but my T4R plowed through like a champ! Even used it to plow a path between the street & my driveway :D

Your 1st Day With Your T4R

Ahh yes, that first day! Brought it home from the dealership in the rain. Got home, parked it in the garage, and sat in it for a couple of hours with the manual, finding everything out about it. Washed & waxed it the very next day. Then made my list of mods :D
