Here in CA tireshops would consider the puncture that the OP posted as being in the shoulder of the tire and thus unrepairable for liability purposes. I guess you could keep the tire and patch it yourself, but the shop will not do it for you.

Tires are the Culprit I drove on the freeway (70-75mph) in the Bay Area during the rain this weekend. I have new (2k mi. on them) Duratracs. My truck was very stable. Had Duratracs on my Jeep LJ and never once (in 13 years) broke traction on the asphalt (wet or dry).

Get New Bin Get new storage bin. I have a Plano Storage bin. It sucks. The latches are very insecure. I am going to get a rubbermaid storage bin with handles that I can thread a tie down through. Will stack better too.
