Thanks robba. Already took care of the issue. I picked up Thule feet for the new Tundra because I noticed the Tundra had a similar roof design as the new 4Runner - they work fine.

No, I'm going to keep them. A Thule box works on the factory bars and they are much quieter than the Thule bars (wind noise). Sorry.

OK gang, looks like Thule Fit Kit 1555 is the one that fits the 2010 4runner! It's recommended by Thule for the Tundra. The roof lines look similar so I took a chance and ordered them and they fit great! So until Thule gets their act together and creates a fit kit for the new 4R, try the 1555.

I had a 1997 4runner with Thule racks that fit well, but they didn't work on the new generation. Any leak problems with the new 4runner?

Hiker Jon, I've got the same truck and color. Nice skin kayak. Couple questions: Any water coming in the door when it rains? Any idea of the models of the yakima fit kit and feet. Much appreciated.

No luck finding Thule mount above front door I have a similar problem, I carry 18-ft sea kayaks. I've had no luck finding a Thule Fit Kit for the 2010 4Runner. I tried the Tacoma fit kit (KIT1511) but it didn't work. Has anyone tried the Tundra fit kit (KIT1555)?
