I am sure you know what you're talking about. Crutchfield is recommending 5.25 for the rear doors (2007) but maybe that is just due to the mounting depth? When I add 6.5 (JL audio C1 650s to the cart it says the mounting depth is 2.5 but that is shallower than the toyota rear door cut-out.

Do you know the kicker model off hand that you're referring to?

How did this go? I have a 2007 T4R and the same thing happened. All the speakers stopped working all at once and the only sound I have are the front door tweeters. These are the premium audio jbls so I guess it doesn't matter either way.
