I am not 100%, but I saw my buddy's 1998 Limited- and the setup looks exactly the same. ECU under the seat, just like mine. Programming was the same as well. If you have the VIP system, get a remote from this guy. Mine was brand new.... still smelled new...

Does this work for a 1997 as well? I just ordered one for my VIP system on my 97 Limited...

OK, that's all done. Went ahead and paid a shop to install them- went with Monroe Reflex's all the way around... So, when are we going again? :D

Sorry if this has been requested before- I have searched and searched for a guide on how to change shocks and struts on a 3rd gen 4r.. I have come up with quite a bit of info, but not what I need to see. Anything out there with pics? Thanks, all!

Cool - I'm not so worried about breaking the truck, but the struts and shocks are crappy on the STREET right now...:D need to get em changed before i do anything even remotely offroad. Do you guys have a good guide on third gen's strut and shock replacement?
