you're right. that's the whole point, isn't it? They are also really fun to build! Just started receiving all my parts which have been backordered, including 15 PMAGS (30 round). this baby will be side-charging.

And the best part: once the owner dies, the weapon is non-transferible. It is confiscated by the gov't to be "destroyed". I agree that an AR is not a necessity. Fun as hell to shoot though!!!

I bought mine from the stealership and it was $35 or $45. They had one in stock so i thought WTH. Part number below, as is location. that lever arm belongs to the brake pedal, so the switch is immediately in front of the lever and was brown. the replacement is pictured with the blue sleeve...

thats the part i couldn't remember! it will eventually need replaced b/c you won't be able to shift from park. there is a trap door at the front portion of the shifter which when removed exposes a button which over rides the lock and allows to shift from park. easy, cheap fix.

The proposed ban by senator feinstein does in fact ban nearly all modern firearms. if you haven't read the ban, you should do so. that proposal is not gin control, it de-arming americans, which is a problem and unconstitutional.

as much as i hate the VSC and know that locking the diff will disable it, I lock very cautiously. I don't know the limits of rodding around in 4H and locked, but I sincerely doubt Toyota had me and my driving in mind when they designed this! Seems like an expensive fix!
