Seems like a go away proposal. Have you tried swapping the ignition switch to see if it is just a bad switch?
Also, if it isn't turning off, I would look at the harness between the dash and fuse box. Testing for a short from the ignition harness should be easy to test. Pull the connector on...
Very nice rig. I replaced my springs with new off Amazon for about $60 shipped. Completely changed the truck positively, highly recommend if your not lifting.
