Ran the 10 miles checked the Red fluid. Tranny fluid is still bright red to my liking, was thinking the computer might be off and is having the transmission shift sooner then should? Maby it needs a flash reset at the dealer? Or can it be one of the 3 transmission sensors being part faulty?

So I tried the shifter position on "2" with the OD on then off as Charlie stated and no clunk at all Also tried on "D" position with the OD off and no clunk at all as well, What does this mean exactly??

Mymotor mounts look good, I also replaced the transmision mount just in case

Thanks Charlie Ill try that tomorrow I also greased the slip yoke with the motorcraft ford grease and still clunking

Ive greased all u joints and changed the transmission mounts the clunk is still there. I have a 2001 SR5 4runner 4x4 Auto trans. The clunk hapens at 'exactly 19mph' when slowing down normaly from around 35 mph or so or if I coast to a stop with out aplying breaks it also clunks but faintly. if I...

I found out that the OEM headlight/fog light switch from 96-99 is diferent from 2000-2002.The Fog lights and Realy are the Same on all years. For my 2001 SR5 I used part #84140-14120 (SWITCH ASSY , HEADLAMP Also need a Fog Relay,Fog Lights,15A Fuse The rest is plug and play!
