Just installed a brand new Duralast Gold rated for 750 CCA three days ago. At shop for routine maintenance and they tested the battery at 690. Although, the battery temp wasn't at 0 degrees F, so I'm not sure how accurate that is. Although, I think at normal room temp it should be reading...

I think part of my point, which I failed to explain, is that I'm now running Eibach rear springs (1" lift), rated for 206 lbs. And they are only 10% stiffer than OEM according to Eibach. And I really don't feel much of a difference to be honest. And according to you, Icon's 2" rear spring @ 200...

I've got 60k miles on my '21 TRD Pro and yeah... the exhaust is annoying as hell. Can barely have a conversation with a passenger while on the highway. Toyota designers are not winning any points with this monstrosity.

Again, if we are talking about the same thing (LCA eccentric cam bolts), the torque spec is 130 lb/ft. Maybe you were referring to the ball joint? That's 104 lb/ft. Lower ball joint attachment bolts are 118. If you torque any of these parts to "like 90 lb/ft" you're gonna get clunking. And Moog...

I'd also like to point out, again for anybody going through a similar situation, that the part numbers in the OP's post were wrong and that is why he was experiencing issues. Moog part number RK620061 and RK620062 are Lower Control Arms for a 2003 - 2009 2WD 4Runner or 4WD 4Runner with KDSS...

I'm bumping this thread again because it's pertinent and I wish I'd seen it earlier. So maybe this will help others. Moog DOES NOT make replacement LCAs for the 5th gen. 4Runner in their more stout "Problem Solver" line. The ones they offer are their cheaper, lower-quality variety with the "RK"...

I'll do a chalk test. But a larger tire with more volume requires less pressure. I know I need to go down in pressure from the stock tires, just trying to determine how much. Chalk test is the way to do it I suppose.

Not sure how to do this. GAWR of front end is 3000 lbs. OE tire rating is 113 (2535 lbs.). New tire rating is 116 (2756 lbs). But at 32 psi, 113 rating = 2425 lbs. So for 116 rating, to get about the same weight (2425), I would need 26 psi. But it depends on the chart I reference. Nitto refers...
