Yeah, I was surprised...I just picked it up at O'Reilly Auto Parts because we needed more USB ports. When I went to put it in, it fit perfectly into that little opening that didn't seem to have much purpose otherwise. Only issue is that if there's a cup in the front cup holder, it can interfere...- Framerkat

I installed a doohickey! Needed more charging ports and this fit right into the tiny cubby hole in the dash.- Framerkat

Nice Runner! I'm here (indirectly) from Tacoma World also...had my 04 DC totaled by wicked Hurricane Irma last year. Got a Rav4 after that last year and then got a sweet deal on a 2018 Magnetic Gray 4Runner yesterday. We're officially a Toyota family now!- Framerkat
