Thanks for asking! I just used a few velcro straps that can be purchased off Amazon. It's best to get a pack with a variety of lengths -- that way you'll have the right length for every application :)

I have a Prinsu roof rack – thankfully the rear crossbar offers slots to mount stuff like lights. But I’m sure you can do something similar with any popular rack brands.

This is an eye-of-the-beholder type thing -- and in these eyes, a large retangular piece of shiny plastic sitting front and center on my rig most certainly does not blend in well with the surrounding honeycomb-mesh grille.
