The purpose for crossdrilled rotors was never to help cool them. Brake pads don't outgas at any tempertures that they are anywhere close to like see in our use, so it's not a problem. Crossdrilled and/or slotted rotors will not give you the same braking performance that solid (vented) rotors...

Wow, those sliders are probably the most disfunctional sliders that I've ever seen on any type of 4 wheel drive vehicle :( Guess there aren't any big rocks that he wheels in.... Best, Fred

That's a A340F for sure. Aisin-Warner's part number for it is 3080LE. :) Fred
