I havent checked out the link for the thread, but just in case that doesn't help you, I have had a problem like this in the past with a Ford Explorer. It was a loose tranny mount. My sister recently had a problem like this and it was a motor mount on her Pontiac. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.

Nope, no problem. Dont worry yourself about that. Frames get banged and dented and nicked from off roading all the time and there are no frame integrity issues.
