Molocone, Don't forget if you ever have a serious car accident you will be much safer in the 4 runner vs the Altima. That is another reason I am thinking about the 4 runner. Don't worry about the gas mileage. It's nothing. Enjoy your 4 runner. Also you sit up nice and high.

I am going the other way. I currently own small Japanese cars. Celica, Protege and a Miata, I need a larger vehicle and the 4 runner, 8 cylinder is my first choice. But they are more expensive then what I have ever paid for a car. So I.m not sure yet what I will do.
