Haven't decided if I'm going to Toys for Tots down in Rochester. Are you staying all weekend or just for the day? If just for the day what time are you planning on getting there. It's a good 3 hr drive for me.
I've never been there and want to check Appleton out.
Hard to say without hearing/feeling but are you sure it's the engine. I had a ticking/clicking sound that 1st seemed to come from the front and only happened on acceleration. In the end my issue turned out to be bad ujoint in the double cardon on the rear drive shaft.
[QUOTE=MN4runnerman In a few years I'm gonna put a Dana 44 on this sucker.
SAS nice. My buddy Tony just did this and has 44's front and rear, running 35's in his 97. 28in coilover on a homebrew longarm setup. He's just finishing it up. We'll see if his weld's hold up ; ). My brother has a...
I was planning on making Memorial weekend. I'll post up when I'm headed to the range. I usually run with a bunch of jeeps. I'm putting in CV's on both sides and a new muffler this weekend. Hoping to put at least a front tube bumper and winch on this year. Looking forward to seeing some more...

Just wanted to say hi, in case this thread picks back up in the spring. Just got into wheeling 2 years ago and bought 99 4runner last year. I've been out to dresser once and the Iron Range 3 times. Looking forward to having some other Toyota's to run with.
I came across it and a few other things I've done and ADV rider. Adventure Rider
There a few good ride reports on the T.W.A.T.
I've been into bikes since I was 12. Just started offroading in trucks because I have a kid now and want to take him with me on the mini adventures.
I've just downloaded the tracks from the guy that put together the trail. He has a site. Lone Wolf Expeditions: Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail
He's a pretty cool guy and very friendly. There's ones for motorcycles and and an overland one for Jeeps/Trucks. He uploads new versions every couple of...
Depends on what you mean by rustic. Tons of State Forest campgrounds to choose from. I stayed at White Rock Mtn. in Arkansas. They have cabin's there but rustic camp sites were $10. There's dirt roads in the area to explore, hiking trails. I ruffed camped on the Keweenaw Peninsula in MI before...
I've done the entire thing on bikes a couple of times and the bottom half in my 4runner. It's mostly curvy scenic paved roads and gravel roads so any vehicle is really capable of doing it. In the bottom half there's a hill/road called Grampa's run that's a little rough and fun. You probably...
Found a municipal campground in Biwabik that's only about 5 miles away. I'll be across the bridge just after the DNR checkin at 10am Sat. if you want to meet up.
I'll be in a 1999 black 4runner and my brother has a 1997 white 4runner.
