Not sure if you've ever driven a hybrid or a full electric vehicle. However, that instant torque from an electric motor cannot be reproduced by ICE. I do agree though, the gas mileage improvements were an after thought. It would have required equipping the vehicle with a much larger ev battery...

Yep. This isn’t a 2022. Another dead giveaway is the front sensor which is lowered in the grill on the 2022 to accommodate for the 360 camera. OPs pick is either a photoshop or a wrap.

A stub for the birds eye/360 camera. I think I can live with that for this added feature.

Most likely a glitch regarding the ORP trim. As the route isn't open going through the standard way of getting to the 2022 build configuration. It surprises me that they don't have a a pre-stage endpoint that is publicly blocked to test/verify. Actually I take that back, this is Toyota.

Pretty much this. I placed a 1K deposit at a dealer for a 2022 Trd Pro. Once they get the allocation of what they have coming in, they will notify me/provide me with a VIN#.

BSM, RCTA, and MTM are the biggest reasons to dump your prior year and get a 2022. MTM worked wonders in my Tacoma TRD PRO.

Placed a deposit on a 2022 4Runner TRD Pro a couple of weeks ago. Blind hope that it has BSM from the rumor mill. If not i'll just take my deposit back.
