Replacing my torque converter and when I removed it the fluid pump bushing was stuck on the shaft. I got it off but when I fitted it into the trans it was not snug. It doesn't look like it's severely worn but I assume it's supposed to fit snugly in the trans with the torque converter spinning...

Yes, been through this myself. The factory amp has to go.

I assume you must have checked the fuses. I had both bulbs out once. I figured one must have been out and I didn't notice. If not that then you need to check for voltage at the bulb connectors and start working your way back.

Just remove one side. It'll be 1/2 as stiff then!

+1 for driving the seal in a little less or more. Only a small amount should work.

Yes, bad fuel pumps can do this. So can vapor lock. Loosen the fuel line & then have someon crank to see if you have fuel pressure (protect your eyes!).
