I finally finished the lift, trimming, grinding, diff drop and coil adjustments. The hardest part of the entire job was removing the damn rear shocks. Here a a a quick pic.

Thanks and you may have seen it but it was pretty stock before tonight. Here is a mock up of the rear. The damn techs at Kauffman gouged the mess out of the inside of my wheels. Trying to figure out how to handle that.

Parts and plans update So all I have left to get is the body lift, but I think I will be fine for the time being. My toytec coil overs are installed and a drastic change from the 250k mile struts that were on there. Sitting on the shelf is the Diff drop, land cruiser 8 wrap coils, Landcruiser...

Just a little tip that I have done on mine. The battery terminals were corroding and actually giving me hard start symptoms. It was pretty bad, but all you need is some liquid copper to coat the terminals after they have been cleaned. I haven't had a problem since this occurred back in January...

Is there a check engine light and or codes? Even if the light isn't on did you checked to see if there were any stored codes? Why did you put the before mentioned parts into it? Sounds like you have some sort of vacuum leak to me. It's weird because it comes and goes. I would start by checking...

I have the Goodyear Wranglers M/T on my 96 F150 long bed since 2009. 40k miles later they still ride great and have not excessively worn down. I'm actually thinking of going with this tire on the 4runner. There is a bit of road noise, but if you can live with it they are a good tire.:boink:
