The rear window washer and wiper are controlled by the rear door ECU...along with the rear window. If the battery is disconnected (or something else ineterferes) the ECUs must be reinitialized by pushing and holding the rear window down button and then pushing and holding the rear window up...
Well...I removed the Progressive Snapshot device and then disconnected the battery for a few minutes and reconnected. The lights are off now...at least for a trip around the block. We'll see if they stay off now. This is something the Progressive and Toyota dealer people should be made aware...
My check, engine, vsc trac, vsc off lights are on. 2007 4WD. I installed the Progressive Insurance Snapshot device on my OBD connector a week ago. Could this cause the problem?
