Money Math One stand point is this - Take the tread depth as a marker. You know by 15-20% of tread depth they are basically done... so you only get ~ 80% of original tread. New = 100% tread and 100% cost (this isn't even factoring 'sales' and discounts, etc.) Used at 50% wear = ~ 20% -25%...
