Compiled: FJ Springs Lift Info for 4th gen

Id get the shocks for a 07 FJC 4x4 to match the spring rate for the springs you have. The 4Runner shocks might not damp the stiffer springs as well. I'm doing my swap to FJ 4X4 springs and shocks this weekend on my 05 V6 4Runner so I can comment on ride after that. I did it on my old 2wd FJC...

    Scion T1814 HU Aux input

Well, I got it done! My 05 4runner now has a T1815 w/ aux input in the center council (using an OEM aux input jack out of a Yaris)! It is kinda a strange radio getting the sound right at is has 3 modes (hear, feel, and natural) which are tuned to the individual Scion cars. All in all though, it...

    Wheel fitment question

Like this? No rubbing at all on my 2wd T4R and they fill out the wheel wells nicely. Plus, the offset is slightly different so they sit out a little more flush to the outside of the fenders (like it you put on a small wheel spacer). Looks great IMO

    Scion T1814 HU Aux input

Ok, I got a 20 pin harness for AUX out of another Toyota. Now, is there any "resistor mods" or anything I have to do to make it work right? Also, does anyone know the pinouts for this harness for the AUX input, just so I can verify mine is the same? Thanks!!

    3rd row seat "ready"?

From what I have seen, the ones that have the 3rd row are different from the ones without, and I haven't seen any that are "3rd row ready" if they didn't originally come with a 3rd row. The clips in the floor might be there still under the carpet, but the mounts that are in the humps on the side...

Anyone know how to get the AUX to work for a 3.5mm jack?

4runner owners - who are you?

29 year old with a BSE in mechanical engineering. Finally saved up and bought a 2005 4Runner for my wife and 2 year old daughter as it was a pain trying to load the family up in a Civic for trips. Then I found this forum and the modding started: tinted windows, 2011 SR5 wheels, color matched...

    Scion T1814 HU Aux input

The RCA jacks are the subwoofer outputs. I think the AUX is part of the 20 pin connector that has the steering wheel controls in it like on the one in the linked post.

    Scion T1814 HU Aux input

Scion T1814/T1815 Aux input HELP!! I have a T1815 deck out of a Scion and was looking to upgrade the stock radio in my '05 4runner with it. I have one question though: is there a way for me to easily add a 3.5mm (headphone jack) AUX input to the deck? I don't care about the iPod connectivity as...

Paint job with stock silver rim tires?

First off: you have a white 4R and have black spots on it from grease? If so, clean it off. Use a solvent if necessary. Normal soap and water might not take off the grease or asphalt sealant that they use on some roads. Some extra work might be required. Second: "the white paint was somewhat...

Tire light blinking, not staying on

Question regarding the battery in the sensors: I currently have 4 sensors that I removed from my stock wheels but are not installed in my current wheels yet. Is this going to cause the batteries to die and the sensors worthless when I get around to installing them?

    Ultimate Scion Headunit (stereo) thread

So, if I just want to get an AUX input on my 2005 4-runner (I don't have one stock that I know of and I don't care about the USB) with a T1814 deck, what harness do I need, and do I need to do the resistor mod? Thanks!

    I need an opinion guys.

I am selling my V6 Mustang and just bought a V6 4Runner to replace it. I get close to the same gas mileage (within 1 mpg) now and I am much happier with the 4Runner. If you are only looking to get better fuel economy, then buy a Prius.
