100%! Recently I replaced the 3 way coolant valve on my wifes Prius with a Dorman part from Rock Auto. Within 2 weeks the coolant leak was back.
I was able to isolate it to the valve itself. Removed that valve and replaced with OEM at twice the price. Well worth the extra money - i don't...
2003 RAV4 that I picked up from a buddy for $1K. The transmission cable was snapped and he just wanted it out of his driveway. I replaced in half a day, and its been my daily since! Great on gas and easy to work on.
Oil LEak
Discovered a pool of what I thought was engine oil under the 4runner after a 200 mile round trip yesterday.
Fought with a rounded off bolt in the skid plate for 2 hours.
Now I think i have a busted transmission cooler line? Not sure yet.
New to me 4runner with 50K on the odometer!
