I'm in the Hattiesburg area. I've hit a few forest roads in DeSoto NF but mostly just a few road trip in so miss. Not having much luck on trail running and not looking at running mud pits. Anyone have in suggestions? TIA.

I am originally from San Angelo. There used to be places to go at Twin Buttes lake on the north side but I think it has been fenced off. Not really any hills or anything but some dirt/mud tracks between the nort and south parts of the lake. There is an off road park between midland and Stanton...

Moved Wednesday left Weatherford, TX in my '97 pulling a fully loaded 5 x 8 cargo trailer and drove to Hattiesburg, MS. Long day but it drove and pulled fine.

First attempt at half shaft replacement. It went smoothly.

Got it dirty. Ran a few trails in the Lincoln Nat'l Forrest Guadalupe Ranger District. First time out since I got it. Very impressed with performance.

Thanks for the add. New to Toyotas and have a lot to learn. Just bought a '97 limited with a few mods already in place. Looking to add bumpers, sliders, etc.
