    The 3.4L TRD Supercharger Thread

Thanks for the tips Jerod! Not sure why I thought it was a 1st Gen, but it's actually a (black) 2nd gen SC, so that's cool. The injectors were fully cleaned and had new o-rings already. I had an injector service shop here in Denver flowbench them awhile back, just found the box where I wrote...

    The 3.4L TRD Supercharger Thread

While doing the install, I assume this is the best time to swap in the injectors, while intake, etc. parts are off. I have the "brown top?" 23250-46030 Lexus SC300 injectors. Do I need special clips or anything, or do they swap with the factory stockers straight across? These are supposedly...

Making my 3rd gen suitable for winter living?

Great idea! Will have to do that as well. Plus the cardboard absorbs most of the window condensation/moisture I assume.

    The 3.4L TRD Supercharger Thread

I don't see any oil leaked out, but I hear what you're saying. I'd be especially concerned with any seals. I'm actually at a mile high, 20+% less HP than at sea-level, so people are running 2.2 & 2.1 pulleys with only premium gas, although that leaves no headroom for A/F ratio. If I decide to...

    The 3.4L TRD Supercharger Thread

I've got a 2g SC kit that was purchased with supposedly only 300 miles on it. Looks almost new actually, hard to believe it was ever installed. Has all the parts, plus I bought a 2.1" pulley and the dynamic tensioner. Only caveat is it's been static in a box, in storage for almost 10 years...

    Show us your rack!

My most recent Runner came with an Arksen 64" rack already installed, so I looked it up on Amazon to read reviews. Found it was pretty cheap, $120, but decent overall. Sturdy, I can yank the shit out of it and only the truck shakes back and forth. Overall, about 80% 4/5 star (good) reviews...

Rarest 3rd gen of them all?

'98 SR5, 5spd, factory locker, Stellar Blue Pearl, gray cloth. Mint, bone stock, newly acquired. I know this color was offered over all the 3G years, but I almost never see them around. Maybe once a year, even in Colorado. How rare is it? I can't find any good production numbers charts like...

    New 4xInnovations Plate Bumper

I'm about to pick up my '99 4R from the bodyshop tomorrow. I read all the Shrockworks and 4xInnovations bumper threads I could find, even from five years ago, before I put in my order. So far, I've only seen it test-mounted before removal and paint, but everything my shop guy has said so far...

    3G Plate Front Bumpers

Thanks guys! I like all these, but especially love that 4x MattJakobs, I'll probably go that route. At 100lbs I'm guessing it'll drop my front by an inch at most, maybe? I know my Bilsteins are tad softer than the OME equiv. I'm not sure how little the stock front bumper assembly weighs...

    3G Plate Front Bumpers

I love the Shrockworks (with no guards/hoop), but they're about 3-4 months out on new order builds. Thought about the similar 4xInnovations bumper. What have you guys experienced or heard with either, fitment, quality of welds, finishing, etc.? I wish ARB made one without the guards, or do...

    Horrible Experience with MagnaFlow

Yep, these shitty customer service cases should be the rare exception, not a common problem. I'll be taking Magnaflow off my list of possible exhausts for any of my vehicles. Sounds like they left this guy and other customers out to dry. Will stick with TRD, Borla, URD/JBA, or Flowmaster. Or...

    WTB: 3rd Gen Sport hood.

I'm curious about this too. I have a Sport hood, but might need one on my next Runner. How much is a new one from Toyota, with the scoop? I'll call my bodyshop too, and report back.

    3rd Gen T4R Picture Gallery

Cool pics Kyle! I might have to hit ya up on your route, just curious what trails (and difficulty), and what towns you passed through. Unless you have a trip thread somewhere.

    End of the world Vehicles

Pics (except the one with the H2), make it look shorter than it is. I'm curious what chassis/suspension it is, or completely new ground-up? Add a little more lift maybe, and definitely remove those siderails...
