99 Taurus 12 Frontier 93 4Runner

My 93 with our 81 venture pop up camper. I was surprised how well it hauled it, though I wouldn't want to put anything much bigger behind the old girl.

I just did my idler and pitman arms. They separated from the tie rods easily with a 2 claw puller. Getting the pitman arm off the steering box was tougher though. The puller didn't work. Ended up using my oxy acetelyne torch to heat a little spot red hot then smacked it with a hammer. You get...

I just replaced my idler arm and wowza, the whole tie rod assembly sits a good 4" higher and none of them touch now. The ball joint just kinda flops around on the old one. Just gotta do the pitman arm and take it for a quick spin. Hopefully that solves the death wobble issue or at least makes it...

Thought about a Thunderbird turbo coupe? Should be in your price range, rwd, turbo(obviously), room undre the hood etc.

Did an oil change and lubed the ujoints and shafts the other day before going camping. Not sure what happened but after going up a big hill , 8% grade for a couple km, it got louder has more balls and likes to rev up to redline now. Maybe the cat was clogged and it blew the crap out.

It's Cranbrook, BC and fisher peak is right in the middle of that mountain range. It is a really nice area.

I changed the wipers the other day. The cheapo canadian tire ones come with an adapter for the rear one. Also cutting discs are on sale and I get paid on a couple days..
