Long story short, I dented the back right quarter panel, and now my rear window will not go down, which means I cant put down the door either. Since i backpack and camp a lot, this is causing a real dilema getting gear in and out of the truck. Anyone got ideas? dent puller? new motor?....

Has anyone had to replace the stock skid plate yet? I was wondering if they hold up after one or two rock hits, or should I just purchase a steel plate for my truck?

love my 2nd gen I bought a 91 4runner with 185,000 miles on it, from the original owner who babied this thing. Like new. Only repairs are things that naturally just go, like axles and alternators...

Just got new front axles as well as brand new shocks all around. I was wondering, since I did the front axles, should i replace the rear axles or just wait till they get bad and then replace them. there are about 185,000 miles on the axles.

The reason your yota might not start is due to a worn distributor. i have a 91 4 runner and I had the same problem a few months ago. The cost was a bout 400 for instalation and parts. But i am sure you can find a remanufactured distributor for around 200-250 and install yourself. I just didn't...

I have just gotten a check up on my 91 t4r. Mechanic told me that my fron axles are bad and need to be replaced. Alson when the car is in 4WD, when I make a sharp turn its sounds like something is rattling around. If anyone has any insight on this problem please help

he told me the boots were shreded and may need to replace bearings. On the differential, its leaking from the seals. I believe that I just need to pull the case off and reseal it. Any advice?
