The russians are buying a lot of the Hilux Surfs which come out of Japan. The UK is now flooded with em, but generally 1st , 2nd and 3rd Generation.

Alot of us here in the UK are looking and starting to run on VegOil...ethanol etc as stated will damage fuel lines and other compnents unless made out of viton [synthetic material] Diesel at present is running at 94.9p per litre..it cost me 45 pounds to fill my tank from 1/4 mark last week...

Not too sure on the american models but usually if the vehicles are on the red over here in the UK we normally check for air pockets in the cooling system check for problems with the thermostat sticking or gone is the fan coming on etc.. could even be a faulty temp sender but more than likely...
