I can't remember how many bolts (maybe 12? 16?) but it took me less than 15 minutes to remove my running boards. Super easy if the bolts aren't rusty.

I tried selling mine on Craigslist but didn't have any luck.

Agree with LittleCaesar ^^^ I had a girl run into the back of my Tacoma and hit the 2" ball on the hitch. No damage to me, she had a big dent in her hood.
