What scan tool do you use?

68 here. First 4R, 2019 OR, after having owned 3 2nd gen Tacomas, several (lost count, 6+/-) 1st gen Tacomas, one of which is currently in the driveway. The 4R is the best of the bunch.

Sorry, I didn't mean you personally, just if anyone got that kit and tried to use it with Jason's bracket. I did the mod as you described. It would be nice to see if the A-pillar trim in that other kit would work with Jason's bracket, but chances of getting just the trim are probably slim to none.

Not that I need it, but I'm curious if the supplied A-pillar trim and grab handle (provided one ever got it) would work with Jason's bracket...

Just saw this on another forum, comes with a grab handle, and a new A-pillar trim cover... Driver Side Grab Handle w/ A Pillar - 5th Gen 4Runner - KTJO 4x4 Hadn't seen this option before, I did it the way this thread describes.

Anti-seize is never a bad idea on bolts that will periodically be removed. It does affect the torque values, however, and you have to account for that. Plus, as you mentioned, they could work loose, so a periodic check is a must.

I just heard back from Anthony Nguyen @ Toytec: "Unfortunately we do not have the 0 to 2, it'll just be the 2-3 from us with our systems" So, no 0"-2" available from Toytec in the Aluma Boss system. Too bad.

It seems a UHaul store that won't rent you a trailer because you have a factory installed receiver hitch (rated for 5000 lbs.) just because it doesn't have the stamp they want wouldn't be worth renting from. Any others around?
