I would not worry about it until you get ready to replace speakers in the hatch. If you really want to get into it, its really easy. Just yank on the lower passenger side of the plastic interior cover. You'll see an arrow molded into the cover. Good luck and enjoy your 4Runner.:thumb3:

13 oz is pretty extreme. 4 oz seems a bit much as well. a good balance job sometimes requires the tire to be turned to another position on the wheel. My tire guy refuses to install any more than 1-1/2 oz Always does a great job. You should get a second opinion on that balance......

Probably need a "bass blocker" on those tweeters. They are not made for the low frequencies.

You need to bridge the gap where the cap was removed. When I did mine, I just snipped the wires close to the cap and then twisted them together. Quick solder joint, and done.

If you count all of the 2-ways as "2" speakers and the 3-ways as "3" speakers, plus the sub....then you add up to "15" speakers in a total of 9 locations. In your SR5, you have "8" 1-way speakers in a total of 8 locations.

You can put it in any gear you want after moving over to "S". As stated earlier, that will determine the highest gear the tranny will shift to unless directed otherwise by you. I really think you should review that manual. :peace:

WTF? I use "S" mode all the time. In fact I prefer it for in town driving. I'm driving a 2012 and am very familiar with how the tranny functions. And yes, on the highway I will usually bump up to 5th and pull back into 4th to pass while in "S" mode.

Explain to me the point of leaving the tranny in 1st gear? Are we street racing? Wrong vehicle for that. Should have gotten something with a "manual" tranny then? Happy shifting. :decision:
