Put mine on in August 2009. Powdercoat black. Mounts easy, seems strong. Rust is starting to show at welds. Have resprayed with Rustoleum a couple times but not winning the war. Just waiting for it to rot thru and I'll get a real bumper.

My 5140, bought and installed 22 months ago, has been flawless. The Garmin is accurate. Updating the map is more of a pain then it needs to be, but that's about all I can fault.

This is getting contagious. Did my grille Sunday. Did not remove it, taped it off and sprayed away (3 coats). Pics soon. I like it BTW, a lot.

Came with, I believe, 18' of cable. Was about a foot more than needed, so all went well. I've got the 36" Wilson. I only take it off if I run it thruan automated wash (which I rarely do).

I did mine exactly that way a couple days ago. It was easy and enjoyable with my favorite beverage.

Under the hood (between the two batts and isolator) is 4 ga wire. From the Optima all the way to the back is 2 ga (because of the loss at that distance). It is on a circuit breaker and everything is fused. I have run the fridge nonstop since last March. Even in the summer, including two weeks...
