I have a 1st gen 87 4runner that I am debating on whether I should sell. It has a new tranny <1,000 miles on it. My only manual transmission and it is a blast to drive. No mechanical issues except no A/C. What do you expect it is an 87. LOL. Extremely dependable. Only put about 500 miles a year...
