This aggravates me the most about mine. Im using Wet Okole covers to protect the seats but my pants still get wet when I get in.

I would disassemble, wire wheel all parts, de-grease, prime then paint.

I could never be happy with that truck again. I'd do whatever is cheapest to get me out of it and into a new one. I turned down all the free oil changes that came with mine because of stuff just like this. Sorry OP. Also, my first post on this forum. Woot Woot!
