I would say Bald Mountain if you want to stay close to N Va if you want a ORV park Rausch Creek In Pennsylvania which will have all levels of difficulty

PetersMill is a very easy trail and is part of the GWNF .Flagpole has been reworked into a mostly gravel/dirt road for most of the trail from what I hear .

Yeah I was hoping it would be better since I'm in Frederick and spend a considerable amount of time up at GreenRidge SF .Thought that might have been a good day trip while camping at GR ,maybe in the future if they expand.

Had a buddy of mine who lives out there go by the new trails in Garrett co . He said it's not worth the time gravel road and a small rock garden .Its geared more for the Atv dirt bike crowd

GreenRidge State Forest camp/meet on 10/21-10/23 this is TW meet but your welcome to attend just pm me for info .Not going to be a big event just a few (5-7 at this time)camping and some possibly attended Saturday to cruise the forest roads.
