It's not hard swapping the CV boots. It's just a little messy and gotta have the right tools. Tool for the C clip, 36mm, 19mm, 17mm, 12mm, needle nose for the boot clamps, hammer, big screw driver to pry the axle out, it will leak the diff fluid so be prepare for that. I just did my second one...

Get a new cv axle to put on, then buy a new set of boots then you have an extra axle, just in case. They are the same for left and right.
