V8 vs V6 Thanks very much... i'm inclined towards the V8 for the same reasons you mentioned.... in fact i made the deal earlier today... but held onto the option to change my mind (to take the V6) before taking final delivery in a few days..

I'm in market for new 2005 4Runner... the V8 is about $1500 more than the V6, but comes with a $1K rebate,,vs. only $500 for the V6... and the mileage is not much different... one difference is that the V8 is 4WD only...whereas the V6 allows 2WD mode... any thoughts?? thanks, fred
