    Temperature Gauge Erratic

Here's some ideas, if you haven't seen this yet. Definitive Temp Gauge Fix! - YotaTech Forums There is a ground under the drivers side kick panel. I did all this and mine will normally, depending on the outside temperature, go almost half way up and stay there. Sometimes when its cold out it...

    Problem: Motor Cutting Out

I would, seems to me your valve in the FPR is "sticky". You could check you fuel pressure after power down and see how the new one does.

    Problem: Motor Cutting Out

It looks to me like the Fuel Pressure Regulator keeps the fuel from going back to the tank. I'm looking at my 1987 FSM, so I don't know if there are differences. That may explain the sudden drop after shutdown, but I don't know if that would cause the cut out. Unless your FPR is just shot. Glad...

    Problem: Motor Cutting Out

I would make sure the battery connections are good. If you put the jumpers on the positive and negative as opposed to positive and a ground on the frame or engine. That might explain why it ran jumpered.

    Air conditioning problem

I don't know about your 95, but on my 87 I can jumper the pressure switch under the dash. If you can that will help troubleshoot.

    Air conditioning problem

What I did was pull a vacuum, leak test it for an hour. Then hook up a can and let the vacuum suck it in, it was enough to make the pressure switch so the compressor would pull the rest in. I used a bucket with warm water to put the can in to get it all out. Can't remember how many cans I used...

1st Gen Temp Gauge + Drive Shaft Issues

Mine does the same thing. I put in an aftermarket gauge. With that I found at times it got warm. Mainly climbing in the mountains and with the A/C on. Ended up replacing the radiator, and all the hoses and thermostat while I was at it.

    Good Deal?

Looks good from here! If I had the money and wanted it, I'd plop down $4700 for it. Of course, I would try to talk them down. Low miles for an 87.

    87 22re - Problem Deciphering Diagnostic Code

Should be 4.5 seconds between flashes, strange. Highest code for an 87 is 13, 14 if turbocharged. Per FSM. The 88 FSM starts at code 12. Hope this helps. Not sure what to say about the time in between.
