Dealer did mine, I left it there in AM and it was ready end of day. Dealer had the parts with no advance appointment needed. Having read this forum I knew to let the tank get down to 1/4 full before dropping off.

Get a used beater car for best value since you're driving it into the ground and don't need a 4Runner. Otherwise sell the 4Runner and get a Camry. I don't see the point of a 4Runner if you don't go off-road unless you just happen to like the 4 Runner.
