I got mine back. Went under to take a look and they left a couple of tank skid bolt out and the rubber insulation on the tank strap was left hanging and hitting my driveshaft. Going to ask for the bolts and restrap the tank correctly myself. I don't think I got the A team on this one.

Beware I brought my 4runner in to get the fuel pump recall done. Figured a 4 hour wait would be ok. At the end of the 4 hours, the service advisor tells me the tech broke the fuel line clips and they have to order replacements. Yesterday the parts came in, and they said they were defective...

Correct. I have a 2014 and it didnt have a locking washer. I used red loctite and torqued to spec.

You dont need another wrench. The 4runner tie rod is not the same as the one in your vid. I used this fj cruise video YouTube as a guide when I replaced my inner tie rod. The only difference is I didnt find a locking washer on the original inner tie rod.

Autozone has a loan a tool with all the sizes and you can use a torque wrench on.

Do it at night again the wall in your garage. Tape something on the wall for reference. If you take the plastic top cover off you can turn the aim screw with your hand.

Would love to see one of these with a simplex lock. I'd hate to have to fiddle with a key or combo at night.

You can do it without disconnecting the axle nut. A little less room, but it is doable. It took me 2 hours when it really should have taken 30-40 minutes. If you stick the bearing in the freezer the night before it's a lot easier to drive in.

I replaced the needle bearing with the bushing from ECGS years ago. If you can pull a cv axle, you can replace the bushing. Lots of youtube videos on the issue and the install.

I got the updated led drivers and no longer see a flicker. Glad to be able to run these as DRLs and high beams without any flicker. Thank you XenonDepot for the support.
