    2020 Remote start

I saw that video also, but my 2020 Limited won't do it. Update: I just tried my 2nd key fob and it worked. Went back to the original fob and it now works as well. The back up fob must have taught the original fob how to do it. Now they both work. Nice addition to the 2020 Limited.

    2020 Remote start

As I understand it, you'd have to buy a 3rd party remote start. My 2020 Limited starts with a Toyota app. I was told this was free for a period of time and then costs $80/yr. Interesting however, it starts with the phone app, but when I grab the door handle (which unlocks the door if the fob...

Does the 2020 TRD PRO get memory seats?!

My 2020 Limited has the heated/ventilated seats, but the vented part I was told is softex. The sides are leather. The dealer told me it was because leather cracks and discolors in time.

Oil Change 5th Gen: How To- LOTS of PICS!

Thanks Timman. You are right about putting in the drain and I've done it many times. For some reason, this new one just wouldn't play well. I think I'll order some Motiv products. (for some reason, it wouldn't let me respond directly to you)

Oil Change 5th Gen: How To- LOTS of PICS!

Just a note---my dealer uses a breaker bar on the oil filter housing making it almost impossible to get off. They use impact wrenches on the plate, cover and every other bolt. Needless to say, I don't go there any more. Also, I couldn't get the plastic snap-in drain to work even using a hammer...

    2014 Oil Change

I couldn't get the plastic snap-in drain to work and the "socket" to unscrew the filter housing won't even go on. The dealer told me that have known of these problems for several years, but keep selling them. He said they have a new "wrench" to unscrew the housing, but it often times breaks the...

    Anyone use a block heater?

Thanks Bossman. I do use 0-20 oil and this good T4R starts fast even when it's really cold so I couldn't tell any difference. I've always like to plug in my trucks when it gets really cold just to make it easier on them. With this new truck and the new style heater, I just don't see any...

    Anyone use a block heater?

I have a 2014 and had mine dealer installed, but when plugged in over night I don't think it worked. 1. I thought the engine would start up and run slower, more like it would if warm. The engine revved up and stayed there until it got warm enough. 2. I thought the air temp from the heater...

    OEM Running Boards on 2014 4Runner SR5

Sorry but yes, they are very low. They are decent boards, but my dealer tried to put those same ones on my truck. They told me they had a lot of these and were trying to get rid of them. They are after market "accessories" no where near what the factory puts on.........which in most cases you...

    OEM Running Boards on 2014 4Runner SR5

Finally picked up and installed some boards (Toyota part# PT 92589140) from EB TOYOTA PARTS | toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com MUCH less than other dealers, like 1/2. Was told this is the newest "OEM accessory" running board. I wanted all black but these have a stainless, silver strip that...
