Great writeup, quick question...
I am going to install 2 ham antennas this weekend, both with Diamond K400 mounts. WRT the boot, did you cut a slit in it and put the whole PL-259 connector through it?
I have to run 2 coax cables and one small control cable for my screwdriver antenna...
