Why would someone do that? The policy is limited to terms written within state law. If some did call them fishers do you suppose they'd get their fisher-panties in a wad?
All the state did was chose to enact a policy to write their laws using gender neutral words. Not really that big of a deal. It does give a certain segment of our population something to whine about while the war on Christmas is suspended for the summer I suppose.
