Same Issue and Repair I too have a 2000 SR5 5 speed (w/manual 4WD). I had the transmission replaced recently...When I got it back it was doing the same thing...I took it back...Evidently after-market for sure and most OEM kits will not work on the 2000 5 speed. They had to replace the clutch...
