I'm curious to know if anyone has had bushing failure with the latest updated design.

My stock pads squealed bad, I tried everything. Replacing them was the only thing that worked. I picked up wagners best pads and the squeal is gone. These new style pads do not need grease or lining to keep from making noise. Must be something new. The best part is they aren't as grabby anymore...

I know you need to make sure your parking brake is not engaged. 4 runners have drum parking brakes inside the rotors.

Thats what I was told and I asked about the gap as well. They told me that the arms are designed to be pulled in a little when the long bolt is tightened.

I have the same concerns. I looked at your build (nice by the way). It shows yours came with the 8 washers. I hope you removed the inner washers by now. Since that is what they are saying that causes the failures.
