Because dealers slap on whatever the customer requests. If you have a V6 3rd gen, you can have a supercharger. There's nothing on a build sheet that would include a supercharger.

You can experiment with aftermarket. The only aftermarket brand I would consider is Gates, and that can be hit or miss. Dayco is usually garbage when new and definitely garbage after 3 years. I would just go on Partsouq or Amayama, order OEM stuff and be done. The radiator might be more cost...

Supercharger was not on it when it was new. 5-speed with E-locker is on the rarer side, but you can already find dozens in this thread. Cloth isn't rare.

At 21 years old, I recommend you overhaul that cooling system so you can forget about it. New radiator, rad hoses, heater hoses, throttle body hoses, and oil cooler hoses. Preferably new OEM clamps on there too but if cost scares you then I would million times recommend reusing OEM clamps over...

Does this really surprise you? Synthetic leather = Vinyl. It's the material they used for seating in the 1989 Chevy S10 for selling in fleets to Roto-Rooter. He would likely give you the run-around even if he did answer you.
