Update:
6 years later… The rear seat mod is still doing great. Zero issues… Wherever we go, we get a lot of attention seeing 5 children climb out of our 3rd Gen 4Runner. Most of the responses are thanking us for keeping our 3rd Gen on the road with smiles wide with the 3rd row. ??
I’m seriously considering selling our 09 Town and Country for another 3rd Gen T4R and adding another third row.
I’m fully confident in the safety of the 3rd Gen T4R & the 3rd row we added from the BMW X5. With our added 6” lift, TRD suspension MODs, etc... I’m more concerned about my hitch...
