I looked at that thread. I want to do an R&R without having to add another amp. I just want to find a suitable "like the same" replacement so it's an easy swap.

Sorry if this is a total rehash of this thread. Would any of these work with the stock amp (Stock Synthesis setup) ? They are 2ohms and dual voice coil? I looked for the shallow mounted ones. Compare: Component Subwoofers at Crutchfield.com I'm trying my best to just find a sub swap out...

So what is the recommended mileage for changing the timing belt on a 4thG? I too bought my rig used, and am pretty confident that it was never changed. And as far as the sticker thing goes ... well, it's only as good as 1) a mech/tech that uses it; 2) how honest they are. :lol:

I just swapped out my HU with a Sony, and found out that the antenna is a different size than the input on the HU. Can anyone tell me what and where I can buy an adapter for it?

Does anyone have the wiring diagram for this? I want to hook-up the dimmer on my after market, but don't know which wire to patch it to.

The retro fit thing looks little to techie/hands-on for me. What's buggin' about the head lights is that the lenses are foggy and need to go. I've tried using a lens cleaner and they helped a lot, but not enough. I'm just finding that in most instances the aftermarket halo lights are cheaper...

very nice, but I suspect a little to 'hands on' for me. i'm non-wrenching owner. i need something a bit more plug'n'play.

Wanted to know which you guys would recommend. I have a Silver '03 with badly fogged lenses. Want to replace them, but it looks like I'll have to go aftermarket with the 'halo' type. Want to know which would look better, chrome or black, with or without amber markers.

I have a limited with the auto light sensor. Does anyone know of a way to have the head lights shut off when I turn off the engine? Or shorten the 30 minute limit without having to take it to a dealer?
